Life and AD&D provides financial protection to you and your family members in the event of your death or injury due to an accident. You can choose coverage for yourself and eligible dependents—and when you are approved for Voluntary Life Insurance for yourself, the company automatically provides you with basic life insurance of 1 times your annual earnings.
Life doesn’t always go as expected. Accident Insurance provides a lump-sum payment directly to you if you experience a qualifying injury or need certain medical services due to an accident, such as: hospitalization, fractures, dislocations, surgical procedures, physical therapy, ambulance services, and more. The benefit amount you receive depends on your accident or injury. Accident Insurance is a separate election from the medical plan. Critical Illness coverage helps you cover out-of-pocket costs related to qualifying medical conditions for you or a covered dependent, such as a heart attack, cancer, strokes, coma, and more. You have a choice of a $10,000, $20,000 or $30,000 benefit—and your spouse and children can receive up to 50% of your benefit. Hospital Indemnity Insurance coverage helps you cover out-of-pocket costs with the expensive bills that mount up after a visit to the hospital. Hospital Indemnity Insurance provides a lump-sum payment directly to you if you experience a qualifying hospitalization such as: the birth of a child, illness, surgery, and more. The benefit amount you receive depends on the type of hospitalizaiton.
