The Healthy Retreats program is a transformative experience aimed at empowering Team Members to make enduring, positive lifestyle changes with knowledge, tools, and supportive resources. This unique six-day initiative enables Team Members to step away from their work routine in a retreat-style environment. Guided by accomplished professionals, including lifestyle medicine physicians renowned for their innovative approaches to preventive medicine, the Healthy Retreats Program is tailored to meet Team Members at various points in their individual wellness journeys.
You’re eligible to participate in a Healthy Retreat if you’re a regular, Full-Time or Part-Time Team Member who has completed one year of service at WFM, you’re at least 18 years old, you haven’t had a corrective action within the previous six months, and you have not previously attended a Total Health Immersion or Healthy Retreat.
WFM covers the full cost of the program and transportation for a Team Member to attend the retreat—and even helps with some expenses for a Team Member’s spouse or domestic partner so they can join them for the week.
Yes. To attend a Healthy Retreat, you will need to take either paid time off (PTO) or Time Off Unpaid from work (or a combination of both). Team Members can request time off through Workday with Team Leader approval.
